Rachel’s artistic journey began in elementary school when she exhibited a penchant for thinking outside the box, creating imaginative concepts like female robots instead of conventional models. As a teenager, she embarked on a self-taught path in portrait sketching through books and observation.

To further develop her artistic talent, Rachel took a significant step by enrolling in NAFA’s Short Course Level 1 Oil/Acrylic Painting, led by Raphael Koh. This marked her first formal art course, and it culminated in her debut project, "Calm Dance."

Beyond oil painting, Rachel maintains a curiosity for various art forms, including Chinese calligraphy and exploring the use of colours in paintings. Her diverse interests extend to Buddhism, philosophy, and metaphysics, which are poised to influence her future artwork, promising a unique fusion of concepts and artistic expression
