Nuridah Rostam was born in 1996, Singapore. Nuridah has just graduated with BA of Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts. She performed outstandingly in western painting and mixed media, crafting her own research challenges across different techniques such as textile arts, sewing and embroidery while exploring newer topics of emotions, bodies and diseases, in line with her own healing. As such her artworks were exhibited at Tracking Status: Expedited, Alliance Française de Singapour, 2019 and the SG50 Warisan Kita Mural Project organised by the Malay Heritage
Centre, Singapore. Nuridah received the Goh Chok Tong Youth Promise Award (Merit) conferred by Yayasan Mendaki, Singapore in 2016. Currently a freelance art teacher at ARTARY, Nuridah is committed to using art to educate her students about the value of life. She is an award recipient of the Young Talent ProgrammeWinners’ Solo Exhibitions 2019/20.
